Joining our Credit Union here at Monasterevan, is the best decision you could ever make.
Our Credit Union lets people in the community come together to save and borrow money at low rates, and is operated on a not-for-profit basis, with surpluses being returned to members.

Members of our credit union enjoy many benefits, including:
Flexible & Convenient Loans - From €200 to €20,000 - Members can apply for a loan when they become a member, as all loans are based on member's ability to repay. Loan repayments are scheduled to meet members needs. Our loans are fully insured (for free) that means in the event of your death, the loan is covered by insurance, (Terms & Conditions apply)
Quality Service, No Fees - You can be assured of a personal, professional service from our staff at all times. No transactions fees are incurred for savings or borrowings.
Pay by Direct Debit/Debit Card - Members can arrange a Direct Debit payment from their bank and be sure of regular payments to your Credit Union account. We will send you a statement showing all transactions. Payments can also be made by Debit Card over the phone or in the office
Member Services - Take advantage of a host of additional member services available. We have arranged special house and motor insurance discounts for our members. How do I Join?
To become a member you will need to fill in Membership Application Form and provide the following documents:
- Valid Photo ID - a passport or driver's licence
- Proof of Address - a bank statement or utility bill dated within the past 6 months
- Proof of PPS number Payslip, Revenue Document (due to regulation we cannot accept the Green Card for any member at any time for any purpose)
